Where does the name Brücke come from?
Pronounced: Brooka.

We found this a fitting name as the true meaning of a bridge (in that it helps provide passage over an obstacle) is an effective metaphor in how many people face financial strategies. Whether the plan is as simple as a budget or as complex as finding customized investments within the alternative space, we want to help bridge the gap for our clients.
Our office in Illinois is located in Teutopolis, a town with strong German heritage.
Our History
What started with one adviser has grown to a team with multiple advisers assisting clients across the country. Dick Hawickhorst, since retired, began advising clients in 1979 at our Teutopolis location. Since then, Andy Hawickhorst, Dick’s son, joined the business along with Advisers Luke Doedtman and Jenny Kinkelaar. Emily Hawickhorst, Megan Koester and Angie Beckman round out our team.
In addition to the original office in Teutopolis, IL, Brücke Financial also has a location in Indianapolis, IN. Although these are our 2 main locations, Brücke Financial services clients all over the nation.
